Soccer Game Preview: Lake Havasu vs. Fairfax

The Lake Havasu Knights are taking a road trip to square off against the Fairfax Stampede at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Lake Havasu's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Lake Havasu came up short against Arizona College Prep on Thursday, falling 5-1. While losing is never fun, Lake Havasu can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona soccer rankings (they are ranked 114th, while Arizona College Prep is ranked seventh).

Meanwhile, Fairfax lost 4-1 to Carl Hayden Community on Thursday. That's two games in a row now that the Stampede have lost by exactly three goals.

Lake Havasu's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Fairfax, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-4-1.
