Baseball Game Preview: Raines Vikings vs. Stanton Blue Devils

Raines hasn't had much luck against Stanton recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. Raines will venture away from home to challenge Stanton at 6:30 p.m. Raines will be strutting in after a victory while Stanton will be coming in after a defeat.

On Saturday, Raines got the win against FAMU DRS by a conclusive 20-10. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Baby Rattlers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Stanton didn't have quite enough to beat Orange Park on Friday and fell 6-5. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jhai Mosley made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.

Stanton now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Raines, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Raines couldn't quite get it done against Stanton in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 as they fell 9-6. Can Raines avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
