Basketball Game Preview: University Titans vs. Ridgeline Falcons

University and Ridgeline are an even 3-3 against one another since January of 2022, but not for long. The University Titans will host the Ridgeline Falcons at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Tuesday, University was able to grind out a solid victory over Mt. Spokane, taking the game 71-59.

Meanwhile, Ridgeline entered their tilt with Mead on Tuesday with 13 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 14. They skirted past the Panthers 56-54. The score was all tied up 30-30 at the break, but the Falcons were the better team in the second half.

University better keep an eye on Emma Myers. She was instrumental in Ridgeline's win, going 9 of 15 on her way to 20 points along with eight assists and five rebounds. The contest was Myers' third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Madilyn Crowley, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine boards.

Ridgeline's win was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.1 points per game. As for University, their victory bumped their record up to 8-9.
