Softball Recap: Tri-County North Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Tri-County North dropped their record down to 11-8 on Thursday, which also ended the team's four-game streak of wins on the road. They came up short against the Talawanda Brave, falling 7-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Panthers have suffered since April 13, 2024.

Tri-County North saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jordan Pinion, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

As for Talawanda, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-6. The result was nothing new for the Brave, who have now won nine matches by six runs or more so far this season.

On Talawanda's side, Kylie Cobb was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over six innings pitched. Cobb was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Tri-County North has already played their next game (against Dixie), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Talawanda, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 11-1 win against Valley View on the 6th.
