Baseball Recap: Wheeler Comes Up Short

Wheeler lost against Tupelo Christian Prep on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Wheeler lost 13-2 to Tupelo Christian Prep. Wheeler has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wheeler saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brayden Edwards, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.

Wheeler's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Tupelo Christian Prep, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.

Wheeler will venture away from home to face off against Houlka at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Tupelo Christian Prep, they will square off against Heritage Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
