Basketball Recap: Riverdale Christian Takes a Loss

Riverdale Christian lost against Avenal last Friday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Riverdale Christian Ambassadors took a 49-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Avenal Buccaneers.

Riverdale Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Avenal, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-9.

Riverdale Christian will challenge Alpaugh at 5:00 p.m. on January 10th. Riverdale Christian is facing Alpaugh at the right time seeing as Alpaugh is stuck on an 11-game losing streak. As for Avenal, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Minarets at 6:00 p.m.
