Basketball Game Preview: Cambridge City Lincoln Golden Eagles vs. Wes-Del Warriors

The Cambridge City Lincoln Golden Eagles will challenge the Wes-Del Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Cambridge City Lincoln and 11 for Wes-Del dating back to last season.

Last Friday, Cambridge City Lincoln lost to Union at home by a 34-19 margin.

Meanwhile, Wes-Del ended up a good deal behind Blue River Valley on Saturday and lost 47-28.

Caroline Caward was Wes-Del's leading scorer, having posted 15 points. Caward also led the team in assists with two. Tori Ward held things down on the boards with nine rebounds.

Wes-Del's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Cambridge City Lincoln, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.

Cambridge City Lincoln skirted past Wes-Del 28-25 in their previous meeting back in December of 2022. Does Cambridge City Lincoln have another victory up their sleeve, or will Wes-Del turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
