Baseball Recap: Holy Ghost Prep Snaps Six-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Holy Ghost Prep suffered their biggest defeat since May 1, 2024 on Wednesday. They came up short against the Malvern Prep Friars, falling 7-1. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Firebirds' biggest loss of the season was also their lowest-scoring.

Holy Ghost Prep got a good showing from Christopher Schnauffer, who pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Schnauffer has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, Holy Ghost Prep saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Matt Evans, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.
