The Kim/Branson Mustangs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They blew past Centennial 52-7 on the road. The team's offensive explosion also rewarded Kim/Branson with their most commanding win of the season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Kim/Branson to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ysabel Gonzalez, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Kennedy Cranson, who scored nine points along with four steals.
Kim/Branson's victory bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Centennial, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-13.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kim/Branson will face off against Springfield at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Springfield will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Kim/Branson surely won't give up without a fight. As for Centennial, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Crested Butte at 4:00 p.m. on February 13th. Hopefully Centennial focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 on Monday.
