Iroquois West came into Saturday's contest looking for another win against South Newton, but Colton Marks wouldn't allow it. The South Newton Rebels walked away with a 66-53 win over the Iroquois West Raiders on Saturday thanks in part to Marks, who went 9-for-12 to rack up 29 points. What's more, he also posted a 67% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in February of 2024.

South Newton's victory bumped their record up to 2-14. As for Iroquois West, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 10-16 record this season.

Coming up, South Newton will challenge Donovan at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. That matchup will pit two of the most dominant forwards against one another: Matthew Armstrong and Brendan Hennieke. As for Iroquois West, they are taking a road trip to challenge Gardner-South Wilmington at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
