Basketball Recap: Delaware County Christian Extends Winning Streak to Seven

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Delaware County Christian had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. Everything went their way against The Christian Academy as they made off with a 75-55 win. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Khamai Orange was his usual excellent self, dropping a triple-double with 29 points, ten rebounds, and ten assists. His afternoon made it 12 games in a row in which he has scored at least 17 points. Another player making a difference was Bradford Berwick, who went 8 of 15 on his way to 20 points and eight boards.

The victory (which was Delaware County Christian's seventh in a row) raised their record to 21-2. As for The Christian Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season.

Looking ahead, Delaware County Christian will challenge Calvary Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on February 18th. Delaware County Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 15 games -- so hopefully Calvary Christian Academy likes a good challenge. As for The Christian Academy, they will take on Philadelphia Montgomery Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on February 18th.
