Baseball Recap: Saddleback Takes a Loss

Saddleback was the 5-3 winner over Santiago when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Roadrunners fell just short of the Cavaliers by a score of 4-3 on Tuesday.

Saddleback saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Diego Enriquez, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.

Saddleback has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-9-1 record this season. As for Santiago, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-10.

While Saddleback had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:15 p.m. on Friday.
