Basketball Recap: Bear River Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Bear River can now relate to. They fell 48-38 to the West Field Longhorns on Wednesday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Longhorns this season, with their most recent loss being a 62-53 defeat back in January.

This is the second loss in a row for Bear River and nudges their season record down to 9-15. As for West Field, their victory bumped their record up to 11-13.

Bear River does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for West Field, they will head out to square off against Green Canyon at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Green Canyon will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something West Field surely won't give up without a fight.
