Wasilla faced North Pole in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Warriors fell 19-14 to the Patriots. The Warriors' loss signaled the end of their 11-game winning streak.

Jade Skipps was her usual excellent self, rushing for 109 yards and two scores on only 15 carries, while also picking up 60 receiving yards for North Pole. Skipps' rushing production has been exceptional as that marked her fifth straight game with at least 109 rushing yards. Jordi Darby was another key player, gaining 85 total yards and a touchdown.

Wasilla's defeat dropped their record down to 16-2. As for North Pole, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 16-2.

As of now, neither Wasilla nor the Patriots have any future games scheduled.
