Basketball Recap: North Valleys Continues Home Dominance on Saturday

North Valleys extended their home winning streak to six games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Joshua Collins. The North Valleys Panthers took down the Eureka Vandals 53-39 on Saturday thanks in part to Collins, who went 11 for 14 on his way to 26 points. The matchup was his tenth in a row with at least ten points.

North Valleys' victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Eureka, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-5.

North Valleys will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on South Tahoe at 7:00 p.m. on January 8, 2025. Eureka will also get a bit of a break before their next contest: they'll face off against McDermitt at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
