            Softball Recap: King City Mustangs vs. Soledad Aztecs        
        
		
        
        
            King City won the last time they faced Soledad and things went their way  on Tuesday too. The Mustangs walked away with  an   8-4  victory over the Aztecs. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Mustangs.
 Alizah Carrillo was a major factor no matter where she played. She  tossed seven innings while giving up just two earned  (and two unearned) runs off   six  hits. She also put up three  walks, which were her first of the season. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  getting on base  in all five of her plate appearances with one  triple, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Katia Slama was  excellent,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-4.  Zireth Casimiro was another key player,  going 2-for-4 with one  stolen base and one  RBI.

King City now  has a winning record of 6-5. As for Soledad, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.
 We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. King City is set to  face off against  their familiar foe Rancho San Juan  at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Meanwhile, Soledad will  take on  rival Carmel  at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
