Basketball Recap: Veritas Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Veritas Christian Academy lost against Trinity Christian back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Veritas Christian Academy took a hard 64-45 fall against the Trinity Christian Trailblazers. Veritas Christian Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Veritas Christian Academy lost, don't look at Timothy Hawkswell. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Hawkswell a new career-high in blocks (two). Daniel Hawkswell was another key player, putting up 14 points.

The loss was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 9-11. As for Trinity Christian, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 17-5.
