Baseball Recap: Rison Takes a Loss

Rison fell victim to Genoa Central and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 12-0 to the Dragons. Considering the last time the Wildcats couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

This is the second loss in a row for Rison and nudges their season record down to 7-11. As for Genoa Central, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 14-10-1.

The teams wasted no time getting back out on the field as they've already faced off again: they played to a 0-0 tie later that day.
