Baseball Recap: Muncy Comes Up Short

Muncy made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Millville, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Indians fell just short of the Quakers by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Muncy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jameson Barlow, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Muncy now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Millville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Muncy will challenge Benton at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Indians' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 10.2 runs per game this season. As for Millville, they will take on Canton at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
