Baseball Game Preview: Madison Mohawks vs. Eaton Eagles

The Madison Mohawks will venture away from home to square off against the Eaton Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Tuesday, Madison earned an 11-8 victory over Franklin. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mohawks.

Meanwhile, Eaton entered their tilt with Tri-County North on Monday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 7-2. The Eagles' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Madison's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Eaton, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 3-1.

Madison suffered a grim 10-4 defeat to Eaton when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Can the Mohawks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
