After a string of seven wins, Houston Academy's good fortune finally ran out  on Tuesday. While the  1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Providence Christian Eagles who were credited with the  win. The Providence Christian Eagles got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to the Houston Academy Raiders' three. Houston Academy were red-hot offensively heading into the  match (they scored no less than four  goals in the seven  games prior), but Providence Christian's defense proved too tough.
Houston Academy's goal came courtesy  of  Nate Selig, who's now up to 69 this season.

As for Providence Christian, they will host Cottage Hill Christian Academy  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
