Basketball Game Preview: Tinora Rams vs. Fairview Apaches

Tinora is 2-8 against Fairview since February of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Tinora Rams will challenge the Fairview Apaches at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Tinora is headed into the match out to prove that what happened against Patrick Henry on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Tinora came up short against Patrick Henry, falling 63-37. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 347th, while the Patriots are ranked 106th).

Meanwhile, Fairview suffered their closest loss since December 21, 2023 on Tuesday. They fell just short of Liberty Center by a score of 46-43. The Apaches haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Fairview's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Tinora, their loss dropped their record down to 7-7.

Tinora couldn't quite finish off Fairview in their previous meeting back in January of 2024 and fell 60-58. Can Tinora avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
