Brookland won the last time they faced Lonoke and Emilee Coleman did her part to make sure it happened again. The Bearcats came out on top in a nail-biter against the Jackrabbits on Saturday, sneaking past 39-36 with plenty of help from Coleman, who went 5-for-10 en route to 12 points and four steals. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played.

Brookland's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Lonoke, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Looking ahead, Brookland will take on Crowley's Ridge Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lonoke, they will challenge Harding Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
