Basketball Recap: Lakeland Preparatory Takes a Loss

After flying high against Crosstown last Tuesday, Lakeland Preparatory came back down to earth. The Lakeland Preparatory Lions fell just short of the Tipton-Rosemark Academy Rebels by a score of 46-43 on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Lions have suffered since February 12th.

Lakeland Preparatory's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 3-5. As for Tipton-Rosemark Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-3.

Lakeland Preparatory and KIPP Collegiate will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Tipton-Rosemark Academy will take on Westminster Academy in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
