Volleyball Recap: Point Loma Takes a Loss

Point Loma lost against Coronado back in May of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Pointers fell 2-0 to the Islanders.

Point Loma has also been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 13 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-21 record this season. As for Coronado, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 18-11 record this season.

Point Loma has already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against El Capitan on the 26th. As for Coronado, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against El Camino on the 26th.
