Soccer Game Preview: China Spring vs. Meyer

The China Spring Cougars will head out to square off against the Meyer Ravens at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. China Spring's last four matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Thursday, China Spring didn't have quite enough to beat Lorena and fell 2-1. China Spring haven't had much luck with Lorena recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Meanwhile, Meyer kept a clean sheet against Connally on Friday. They came out on top against the Cadets by a score of 2-0.

China Spring now has a losing record of 4-5-1. As for Meyer, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-1-1 and their overall record up to 4-2-2.

China Spring beat Meyer 3-1 when the teams last played back in February of 2025. Will the Cougars repeat their success, or do the Ravens have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
