Football Recap: Ashley Hua Leads Hillsdale's Defense on Thursday

Hillsdale was not the first on the board on Thursday, but they got there more often. They enjoyed a cozy 21-6 victory over the Santa Clara Bruins.

Hillsdale's defense made their presence known, laying out Gabriella (Gigi) Gonzalez. three times. In fact, those sacks all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Ashley Hua.

The win got Hillsdale back to even at 1-1. As for Santa Clara, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Coming up, Hillsdale will square off against Menlo-Atherton at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Santa Clara, they will be playing at home against Kimball at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
