Softball Recap: Tuesday's Victory Is Plainview's 17th in Last 19 Outings

Plainview had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 7-4 win over the Alexandria Valley Cubs on Tuesday.

Plainview has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 17 of their last 19 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 36-8-1 record this season. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 9.5 runs. As for Alexandria, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 38-10-3.

Plainview does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Alexandria, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Albertville on July 1, 2026.
