Volleyball Game Preview: Collingswood Panthers vs. Hopewell Valley Central Bulldogs

The Collingswood Panthers will head out to face off against the Hopewell Valley Central Bulldogs at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. Collingswood is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games.

On Wednesday, Collingswood earned a 2-0 victory over Gloucester County Tech.

Meanwhile, Hopewell Valley Central hadn't done well against Burlington Township recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Bulldogs had just enough and edged out the Falcons 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bulldogs have posted since April 4th.

Collingswood's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-5. As for Hopewell Valley Central, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-8.

Collingswood came out on top in a nail-biter against Hopewell Valley Central in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
