Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fairview). They put the hurt on the Chesapeake Panthers with a sharp 21-2 victory on Friday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Eagles with their most commanding win of the season.

The win got Fairview back to even at 12-12. As for Chesapeake, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-20 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fairview will take on Lewis County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Lions have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.92 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of.
