Volleyball Recap: Shepard Comes Up Short

Shepard lost against Evergreen Park back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Astros fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 2-1. The Astros have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Evergreen Park found their leader in freshman Madison Majka, who had ten digs and two aces.

Shepard's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Evergreen Park, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Shepard has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Hancock on the 20th. As for Evergreen Park, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Providence Catholic on the 20th.
