Crystal City lost to Bunker back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Hornets walked away with a 2-0 win over the Eagles. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hornets.

Addison Bova paced Crystal City's offense, picking up six kills. Bova got some help from Hannah Schilly and her seven assists. Schilly was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Crystal City's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Bunker, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Coincidentally, Crystal City and Bunker will both be playing Clarkton the next time they take the court. The Eagles will head out to face the Reindeer at 7:50 p.m. on Friday, while the Hornets will head out to face them at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
