Softball Recap: Knippa Comes Up Short

Knippa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 5-2 to the Wagner Thunderbirds.

Knippa saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jazzlean Gomez, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-1.

Knippa's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Wagner, their record now sits at 2-3.

Knippa has already played their next game, a 15-1 defeat against Carrizo Springs on the 14th. As for Wagner, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, an 8-6 victory against Hondo on the 13th.
