Baseball Recap: Gilbert Comes Up Short

Gilbert's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Norwalk, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-4 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gilbert will venture away from home to take on North Polk at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Comets' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Tigers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Norwalk, they are taking a road trip to square off against Pella Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
