Football Game Preview: Tyrone vs. Pond Creek-Hunter

Pond Creek-Hunter may have come out ahead in their last game, but they shouldn't get too cocky given who is up next. They will square off against Tyrone at 7:00 PM on Friday. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown.

After having lost a blowout in their contest two weeks ago against Buffalo, Pond Creek-Hunter were happy to find some success last Thursday. Pond Creek-Hunter took their matchup against Waynoka 14-0.

Meanwhile, if there were any doubts about the heavy odds in favor of Tyrone coming into their match against Boise City last Friday, the squad laid those doubts to rest. Tyrone took the match and then some with a 58-12 victory over Boise City. Followers of Tyrone probably expected little less of the team in a season in which they have collected five blowout victories.

Pond Creek-Hunter took their contest against Tyrone the last time the two teams met by a conclusive 40-8 score. Pond Creek-Hunter's win shoved Tyrone out of the playoffs, so expect the team to have a target on their back in this one.
