Volleyball Recap: Rancho Takes a Loss

Rancho was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They came up short against the Somerset Sky Pointe Eagles, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on April 10th.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-10, 25-12.

Rancho's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Somerset Sky Pointe, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-8 record this season.

Rancho has already played their next game (against Silverado), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. After both having extra time off, Somerset Sky Pointe and Spring Valley will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (the Eagles have won four straight at home, while the Grizzlies won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
