Soccer Recap: NCSSM: Morganton Comes Up Short

After soaring to nine goals the game before, NCSSM: Morganton was a bit more limited in their contest on Monday. They came up short against the Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy Gryphons, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, NCSSM: Morganton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 331st, while Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy are ranked 100th).

NCSSM: Morganton moved to 7-5-1 with that defeat, which also ended their three-match winning streak. As for Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy, the victory (which was their 14th in a row) raised their record to 16-1.
