Football Recap: Pueblo South Wins Going Away Against Falcon + How To Watch

Pueblo South's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They put the hurt on the Falcon Falcons with a sharp 40-17 win. The high-scoring effort was just what the Colts needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Caeden Herrera was a one-man wrecking crew as he threw for 447 yards and five touchdowns while completing 74.2% of his passes. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in passer rating (155.6). Chace Hurley helped Herrera out on the ground, rushing for 86 yards and one TD on only seven carries, while also picking up 69 receiving yards.

When it comes to explaining why Falcon lost, don't look at Brady Robinson. Despite the final result, he threw for 118 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only nine passes.

The victory got Pueblo South back to even at 1-1. As for Falcon, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-1.

Looking ahead, Pueblo South is taking a road trip to face off against Pueblo East at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Falcon, they will be playing at home against Farmington at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
