Softball Recap: Frontier Comes Up Short

If Frontier was feeling good fresh off their 13-2 takedown of Eden on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Falcons lost 8-2 to the Williamsville North Spartans on Friday. The Falcons haven't had much luck with the Spartans recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Frontier saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lyla Hudson, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base.

Frontier's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Williamsville North, their record is now 15-2.

Frontier does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Williamsville North, they will head out to square off against Starpoint at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Williamsville North's pitchers better be ready for this one: Starpoint has averaged an impressive 8.6 runs per game this season.
