Volleyball Game Preview: Greendale Panthers vs. Pewaukee Pirates

Greendale is 0-3 against Pewaukee since September of 2022 but things could change on Wednesday. The Panthers will be playing at home against the Pirates at 6:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Monday, Greendale didn't have quite enough to beat Oak Creek and fell 3-2.

Greendale took Oak Creek into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking six-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-21, 23-25, 20-25, 15-9.

Despite the loss, Greendale got top-tier performance from Jakup Ademi, who had 13 digs and three aces.

Meanwhile, Pewaukee suffered their biggest defeat since September 17th on Monday. They came up short against Westosha Central, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Pirates in their meetings with the Falcons: they've now lost three in a row.

While Pewaukee was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-23, 25-19.

Pewaukee's defeat dropped their record down to 9-15. As for Greendale, their loss dropped their record down to 1-11.
