The Clarke Central Gladiators will head out on the road to face off against the North Oconee Titans at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Clarke Central is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.

Last Friday, Clarke Central took a blow against Jefferson, falling 42-14. While losing is never fun, the Gladiators can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 109th, while the Dragons are ranked 28th).

Clarke Central's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Lagracion Little, who picked up 120 receiving yards and a touchdown, and Hezekiah Millender, who threw for 175 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 passes. Little got the majority of those yards when he pulled down a pass and and took off for a gain of80 yards.

Meanwhile, North Oconee never let their opponents score last Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Dalton 42-0 on the road. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Titans just coasted through the last quarter.

Having lost for the first time this season, Clarke Central fell to 2-1. As for North Oconee, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Everything came up roses for Clarke Central against North Oconee in their previous matchup back in September of 2017 as the squad secured a 47-20 win. In that matchup, Clarke Central amassed a halftime lead of 34-3, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
