Basketball Recap: Mammoth Takes a Loss

Mammoth played a tough contest on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by the Desert Scorpions 71-32. The Huskies were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-16.

This is the second loss in a row for Mammoth and nudges their season record down to 3-10. As for Desert, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mammoth will square off against Frazier Mountain at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Desert, they will face off against Rosamond at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
