While Badin might've come up empty on Wednesday, Carson Niehaus wasn't going down without a fight. Niehaus tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits, which was good enough to also set a new career-low in walks.

Looking ahead, Niehaus and Badin will head out to square off against St. Xavier at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sadly, Niehaus' big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Rams' four-game streak of wins on the road.
