Soccer Game Preview: Splendora vs. Crosby

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Splendora take on the Crosby at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday...

Last Friday, Splendora and Pasadena finished up their game with a 1-1 draw. The outcome might've been different if Kaylee Vanness hadn't been hit with a yellow card, which no doubt limited her ability to make aggressive plays down the stretch.

Splendora's goal came courtesy of Janet Sanchez, who's now up to three this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Crosby). They never let Porter onto the board and left with a 9-0 victory on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Cougars needed considering they were shutout in their previous contest.

With that draw, Splendora's record moves to 2-4-5. As for Crosby, their win bumped their record up to 6-3-1.

Splendora was able to grind out a solid victory over Crosby in their previous matchup back in January of 2022, winning 2-0. Does Splendora have another victory up their sleeve, or will Crosby turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
