Greenville had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Clearwater on Monday. The Bears were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Fightin' Tigers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 on September 13th.

While Greenville won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-12, 25-23.

Ariel West paced Greenville's offense, picking up ten kills. West got some help from Poppy King and her 17 assists. Gracyn Hill controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Greenville's victory bumped their record up to 8-11-1. As for Clearwater, they are on a 19-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-17.

Greenville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Bloomfield on the 30th. As for Clearwater, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Hazelwood West on the 30th.
