Chadwick fell victim to Lawndale and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lawndale Cardinals. Chadwick just can't catch a break and has now endured three defeats in a row.
For Lawndale's part, Seth Alex Rodriguez was a major factor no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over seven innings pitched. Rodriguez was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-4.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Matthew Orozco, who went 2-for-3 with five stolen bases and an RBI.
