After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Doss, Christian Educational Consortium was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 33-26 victory over the Brown Bears. The win was some much needed relief for the Cougars as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Christian Educational Consortium's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Nia Lipic led the charge by putting up eight points and five rebounds. The dominant performance gave Lipic a new career-high in boards. Jenna Wyndham was another key player, posting eight points in addition to eight rebounds and four steals.

Christian Educational Consortium's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-10. As for Brown, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-10.
