Football Recap: Mountain Empire's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

After flying high against Nuview Bridge last Friday, Mountain Empire came back down to earth. The Redhawks took a 27-19 hit to the loss column at the hands of the San Ysidro Cougars on Friday. The Redhawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cougars apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2018.

Despite the loss, Mountain Empire still got an impressive performance from Elisha Lashone Robinson, who rushed for 137 yards and one score. Lashone Robinson is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 115 every time he's taken the field this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Mountain Empire fell to 3-1. As for San Ysidro, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
