Lakewood won the last time they faced Hobbton, and Areona McKoy did her part to make sure it happened again. The Lakewood Leopards blew past the Hobbton Wildcats, posting a 60-17 win thanks in part to McKoy, who went 6-for-14 to rack up 15 points and seven steals. McKoy is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

The team also got some help courtesy of Kiyah Braxton, who almost dropped a double-double with 12 points and nine boards. That's the most points she has posted since back in January of 2024.

The victory made it two in a row for Lakewood and bumps their season record up to 17-3. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 33 points. As for Hobbton, their defeat was their 20th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-17.

As of now, neither Lakewood nor Hobbton have any future games scheduled.
