Basketball Recap: Lancaster Gets the Win

The Lancaster Bruins earned a 66-59 win over the West Ashley Wildcats on Wednesday.

Malik Tinsley was a one-man wrecking crew as he posted 29 points along with six boards and five assists. The game was his third in a row with at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Jayen Reeves, who earned 14 points.

Despite the loss, West Ashley still got an impressive performance from Maurice Cannon, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten rebounds. Jackson Terrell was another key player, putting up 14 points and six boards.

The victory got Lancaster back to even at 1-1.

Lancaster wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 64-54 defeat against Fox Creek on the 28th. As for West Ashley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 50-49 loss against Butler on the 28th.
